On May 17, 2010, nine University of Nebraska-Lincoln students began a study abroad course exploring mass media in Costa Rica.
Students range from sophomores to seniors, with majors in journalism, advertising, psychology, hospitality management and international business. Our instructor is Phyllis Larsen, a faculty member of the College of Journalism and Mass Communications.

Nine Univ. of Nebr. students and their professor meet outside the College of Journalism and Mass Communications prior to their study abroad class.
